Wake up to the sight of silent destruction.
why did we build our home on an empty foundation?
Now we walk away in clear revulsion,
facing that we didn't answer the vocation.
Where will we settle for a new place of endure?
The world is big, I might never see it all.
But if the world is but egdes and limits to explore
fetch me the creator, I will tell him to create more.
Can we live in every corner of this expanding sphere
Where lightning stands still and hangs in the air.
Or will we die from the taint of tears in the bloodline
So the screaming mind and numbing body are never to combine.
Saved from all but boredom, our vision will confine
desert sand and ocean water will meet but decline.
And this beach of chrashing waves and tall dry tides
will never entertain - not even thoughts will it provide.
But maybe we will find the library of human lives
Where a book is written for every pair of blinking eyes.
Where every step is counted and has its own chapter.
And you will be remembered for every time you've spread laughter.
We can be the ones, blowing clouds into the sky
and allow every sunbeam to gently pass by.
Standing upon mountains looking both up and down
letting all men and women wear a leaders crown.
